Anushka Shetty was born on November 7, 1980 in Mangalore, Karnataka. She is known for her close friends as Sweety.
She is trained in Computer Applications from Mount Caramel College and also trained in Yoga by Bharat Thakur, and now takes yoga classes.

Anushka Shetty began her acting career in film in Telugu as Sasha Super (2005) sonu Sood and Nagarjuna. She gave several hits Vikramarkudu (2006), Rendu (2006) and Astray (2006).
